Many GT500 owners struggle with the factory intercooler being too small, resulting in serious heat soak as soon as you start modifying. Our Apex setup solves this by utilizing a much larger intercooler brick that still fits perfectly under the stock strut tower brace.

In our initial testing on a 2020 GT500 using 93 octane with a shot of Boostane, the results were immediate and impressive:

Peak Power: 908 rear wheel horsepower and 705 lb-ft rear wheel torque.
Thermal Control: Air temps started at 104°F and peaked at only 111°F – a negligible rise that keeps the engine safe and the timing aggressive.
Efficiency: We achieved these numbers running only 16-17 PSI of boost, proving that you don’t need excessive pressure when your hardware is this efficient.
High-Revving Reliability: We took the car all the way to 8,200 RPM, where the Apex system is allowed to really perform at its peak.

Maximum Power: Transitioning to E85

When 900 horsepower isn’t enough, the next logical step is E85. Because the Apex system is designed around maximum airflow efficiency rather than just raw boost, we can achieve massive gains without the need for a costly, overly complicated return fuel system. The Apex system is all about efficiency – you can run E85 and not struggle with fuel delivery at that boost level.

To make the jump to E85, we equipped the car with ID1300 injectors and a fuel pump booster. The result was a gain of 44 rear wheel horsepower, bringing the car tantalizingly closer to 1,000 rwhp. This setup allows the owner to choose between 93 and E85, maintaining a tame street demeanor while packing a supercar-killing punch under the hood when wanted.
