If your Ford Mustang is experiencing a rough or surging idle, it could be an unstable MAF signal caused by turbulent airflow.

Watch as VMP’s lead calibrator, Joe Goodnough, explains how air-wash over the MAF leads to drive-ability issues on late model Mustangs or Coyote swapped vehicles.

If you think this could be affecting your vehicle, please contact our support team at 321-206-9369 or sales@vmpperformance.com. VMP’s staff can help you diagnose and resolve the issue.

Awesome video on CAI, MAF and air flow! Great example of surging and a simple demonstration to back it up. VMP helped me when I went with a high flow open grill on my set up years ago. Glad VMP tunes my car all the way up in NY! Keep em coming Joe!
